His rapid rise through the ranks included a special promotion to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) in 2012 and later to Commissioner of Police (COP) in 2016 under President Mahama’s administration.

An alumnus of Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, COP Yohuno holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana and an Executive MBA in Project Management from the University of Professional Studies (UPSA).

As he assumes office, he faces the critical task of strengthening law enforcement, enhancing police professionalism, and rebuilding public trust in the Ghana Police Service.
