Callum Hudson-Odoi’s recent Premier League form has reignited his ambition for an England national team call-up, potentially ending Ghana’s hopes of securing the winger’s allegiance.
The Nottingham Forest forward, who had been a target for Ghana since his England career stalled in 2022, believes a return to the Three Lions is within reach if he continues his strong performances.
“I’m taking it game by game. No matter what happens—whether I get picked or not—I just have to keep performing and stay consistent,” Hudson-Odoi told TNT Sports. “Just taking it one game at a time, and you never know what might happen.”
Despite securing a Ghanaian passport and previously considering a switch, Hudson-Odoi now appears focused on regaining his place in the England squad, for which he last played in 2019.
The 24-year-old has been a key player for Nottingham Forest this season, contributing five goals and two assists, including crucial match-winning goals against Liverpool and Manchester City, fueling his England aspirations.
