The Perfect Series Basic School Assessment continues to gain momentum, with President Barack Obama Basic School from Ablekuma Central, Greater Accra Region, becoming the latest institution to participate in the competition’s auditions.
Spearheaded by Pastor Philip Sarpong, CEO of Perfect Grade Publications & Stationery, this initiative targets Basic 3 to 6 pupils, evaluating their knowledge across core subjects.
Speaking after the audition, Mrs. Grace Anokye, Headmistress of President Barack Obama Basic School, expressed confidence in her students.
“Our school stands out—we are the only one with an international name! We have prepared our students well, and we expect them to excel in this competition.”
Mrs. Anokye highlighted the significance of the contest, noting that it offers students a broader perspective on academic assessments beyond their regular classroom teachers.
“This is the first time our school is participating. We saw pictures of last year’s edition and realized it was a great platform to assess students. It’s essential for them to know that learning goes beyond their school environment and that they must always be ready.”
The arrival of the Perfect Series contest team created an electrifying atmosphere in the school, with teachers and students expressing enthusiasm for the challenge.
Teachers emphasized the positive impact of the contest, noting that it has boosted peer learning and encouraged students to go beyond their standard curriculum.
“This competition pushes students to broaden their knowledge and sharpen their academic skills. It also prepares them for greater opportunities ahead.”
Participating students described the exams as familiar yet engaging, as many of the questions aligned with what they had been taught. Some likened it to their mid-term exams, reinforcing their confidence in their preparation.
With high expectations and a competitive spirit, President Barack Obama Basic School is set to make its mark in this prestigious assessment contest!
