The Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill has been reintroduced to Parliament for consideration, according to Assin South MP, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour.

The bill, which seeks to ban LGBT activities and criminalize their promotion, advocacy, and funding, was previously passed by the 8th Parliament but failed to receive presidential assent under Akufo-Addo’s administration.

In a recent interview, Ntim Fordjour called on President John Dramani Mahama to approve the bill once Parliament passes it. He emphasized strong backing from religious leaders and key stakeholders, stating that the bill is expected to move swiftly through the legislative process.
