Abosey Okai Basic School has officially joined the highly esteemed Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest, a competition that challenges young minds in line with the new NaCCA curriculum.

The school’s audition took place on its premises, marking a major step toward academic excellence.

Pastor Philip Sarpong, CEO of Perfect Grade Publications & Stationery, spearheads this initiative, focusing on Basic 3 to 6 pupils and assessing their knowledge across key subjects.

In an interview, Mrs. Deborah Hiao, the headmistress of Abosey Okai Basic School, expressed excitement about the school’s participation. She believes the contest will expose students to diverse questions, sharpen their academic skills, and broaden their learning experience.

She further commended the dedication of her teachers, expressing optimism that Abosey Okai Basic School will bring home the trophy.

Teachers also highlighted the competition’s impact on their teaching strategies, stating that it helps them gauge their students’ progress while boosting learners’ confidence.

“The contest serves as a motivator for both students and teachers. We believe in our learners and trust that they will deliver excellent results,” the teachers stated.

Some participating pupils admitted to being nervous before the assessment but remained hopeful that God will guide them to success. Others shared that they gave their best effort and are eager to score high marks to make their school proud.
