As part of this initiative:
✔️ Engaging historical content will be shared on the events leading up to the 1948 shooting.
✔️ A Twitter (X) Space Conversation will be hosted on “The Changing Face of Civil Protests in Ghana: Lessons from the Past and Present.”
✔️ The media—including radio, television, online, and print—are encouraged to spark discussions on the anniversary theme.
The Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at Nationalism Park at 8 a.m. on February 28, 2025, and will be broadcast live across multiple platforms.
The NCPC calls on the media, bloggers, and the general public to actively participate by sharing updates and engaging in the conversations. More details on the remaining activities will be shared in due course.
