Three passengers were killed, and a bus was set on fire after gunmen attacked travelers at Wulugu in the North East Region.

The victims were part of a group traveling from Kumasi to Garu when the bus broke down.

While the driver went to find spare parts, armed assailants arrived, killing three passengers and setting the bus ablaze.

Police found the bodies of three young men in their 20s, two of whom were identified as Frafras.

The motive is believed to be linked to the ongoing Bawku conflict, which has now claimed 49 lives since October 2024.
