A ghastly accident involving three vehicles, a passenger bus and two tipper trucks, has claimed four lives on the spot and left many others with life-threatening injuries.
The tragic incident occurred at Danteng, a community in the Kwahu West Municipality along the Accra-Kumasi highway.
According to reports, one of the tipper trucks attempted a wrongful overtaking, resulting in a head-on collision with the bus traveling from Accra to Kumasi.
Kwahu West Municipal Fire Commander, DOII Samuel Mantey, explained to Lawsonmultimidia.com that accidents along this stretch have become increasingly frequent.
He urged drivers to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary overtaking to save lives.
Drivers are being reminded to prioritize safety and vigilance to prevent further loss of lives on the road.
