In a statement of gratitude to his supporters, including President John Dramani Mahama and Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Dr. Amoakohene emphasized his commitment to advancing the President’s vision for national progress.

A top priority for the Regional Minister will be the overhaul of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), which he plans to tackle in collaboration with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Dr. Amoakohene also highlighted the importance of reviving initiatives like the distribution of free fertilizers to cocoa farmers to promote sustainable farming and combat illegal mining, urging that a prosperous cocoa sector will deter the destruction of resources for galamsey activities.
