Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister of State Designate, has revealed plans to overhaul Ghana’s government communication structure by merging the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and the Information Services Department (ISD).
This strategic move is aimed at improving efficiency and aligning communication with the digital age. During his vetting on January 31, Kwakye Ofosu highlighted the outdated methods of the ISD, which no longer meet modern demands.
