9-Year-Old Girl Drowns While Posing for Photos at Koforidua Hotel Pool

The Koforidua Divisional Command is currently investigating the tragic drowning of a nine-year-old girl at the Tonyx Hotel in the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred on Sunday at the hotel near Aberewa Nkwanta, where the child was staying with her five siblings and their father.
Although the young girl was not swimming, she was reportedly taking pictures with other children by the poolside.
Her disappearance went unnoticed until a search was launched, and her lifeless body was found at the bottom of the pool.
She was rushed to the Eastern Regional Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
The hotel management has pledged to cooperate with the police during their investigation and is expected to release a statement to the public soon.
