Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has assured Ghanaians that President John Dramani Mahama is committed to revitalizing the economy and restoring confidence.
Presenting the 2025 budget, he emphasized that the administration is taking decisive steps to address economic challenges.
“He will fix the economy, restore hope, and build the Ghana we desire,” Dr. Forson stated.
He noted that the Mahama government inherited an economy in deep crisis, burdened by debt, but pledged strict adherence to public procurement laws and budgetary limits approved by Parliament.
On the much-anticipated 24-Hour Economy Policy, the minister revealed that a formal proposal would soon be presented to Parliament for consideration.
